01Purpose of KiloMatik
KiloMatik helps you record, view, classify and export vehicle trips. The app is provided by Mikaël Goedike in Québec, Canada. These terms describe use of the app and this website.
02Permissions and operation
Some features require precise location, background location access and iOS motion permissions. You remain in control of these permissions in iPhone Settings.
Detection and accuracy may vary with GPS reception, permissions, iOS settings and your surroundings. Review and correct trips before relying on them.
03Responsible use
Use the app lawfully and without putting yourself or others at risk. Configure the app and review trips while stopped. Do not handle your phone while driving.
You are responsible for information you add, classifications you choose and files you share.
04Mileage and supporting records
Distances, addresses and categories are tracking information that should be checked. KiloMatik does not provide tax, legal or accounting advice and does not guarantee that a log will be accepted by a tax authority, employer or insurer.
Keep the supporting records and backups appropriate to your situation. You control your exports.
05Test version and pricing
KiloMatik is currently a test version. Features may change with updates. This website does not offer subscriptions or process payments.
If a paid offer becomes available, its price and terms will be presented before purchase through the relevant distribution channel.
06Personal information
The privacy policy explains information use, the Apple services involved, exports, retention and your choices. iOS permissions remain separate from these terms.
07Licences and intellectual property
KiloMatik is based in part on the open-source project Driveline, developed by Damien Glancy under the MIT licence. Applicable component licences and notices remain in effect. These terms do not remove rights granted by an applicable open-source licence.
Names, logos and content specific to this site remain protected under applicable rights.
08Availability and your legal rights
Continuous availability and accuracy of every feature cannot be guaranteed. Third-party services, including Apple services, have their own terms.
These terms do not limit warranties or remedies available under applicable law and do not require you to waive a mandatory legal right.
09Changes and contact
These terms may be updated to reflect changes to the service or applicable obligations. The date at the top identifies the current version.
